Mike is a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA) and company secretary (ICSA), who joined Pilbro in 2005 and became a director in April 2006.

Prior to Pilbro, he worked for a number of UK public companies as Subsidiary and or Divisional Finance Director. Many of these jobs had glamorous titles such as finance director Europe, middle east, Africa, but in reality this just meant a lot of foreign travel – Mike has seen most of Europe, North and South America and the Far East, but now prefers to work closer to home.

Mikes career to date has given him ample experience in accountancy, in particular in regard to management accounts and financial reporting, as well as wider commercial Knowledge through his board Positions and has been actively involved in a number of Company purchases and disposals.
Away from work, Mike enjoys many sports, including football, cricket, motor racing and rugby however his interest is that of a spectator not a player!
